Belgium-based Agfa HealthCare will be demonstrating its electronic patient records (EPR) solution ORBIS, at Healthcare Computing 2008 conference in Harrogate, UK later this month.
The firm will also be showcasing IPlan Enterprise Scheduling Solution to highlight its commitment to develop products that increase the speed and efficiency of the entire patient pathway from admission to discharge.
The ORBIS EPR Solution includes scheduling, activity management and communication software. It also includes Medication and Care modules offering a care record and electronic prescription functionality along with Order Communications and Results Reporting functionality that covers laboratory, radiology and other diagnostic departments such as cardiology and endoscopy.
ORBIS uniquely stores all the data in one centrally accessible place lending it to modern treatment practices where patients are seen by multi-disciplinary teams. Every transaction involving a patient is documented from the nursing and clinical care right through to all the administrative processes.
Agfa Technical staff will also be on hand to demonstrate the company’s IPlan Enterprise Scheduling Solution; an internet based enterprise-wide scheduling system that increases the speed of appointment scheduling for all hospital staff. Based on user friendly, innovative software, the system maximises resource efficiency to guarantee the lowest time from initiation to appointment confirmation for staff.
Also being exhibited on the stand will be Agfa HealthCare’s IMPAX Data Centre, the company’s IMPAX PACS Solutions as well as selected Cardiology solutions.
